Because he is too "fringe" for the average voter

Because he is too liberal for the Republican base

Because the media doesn't give him the attention it gives others

Because he is too old

Because he doesn't look presidential enough

Because he doesn't make his case on the issues

Because a true Libertarian won't be elected in either party

Because the base decides the nominee and the bases are always extreme (right/left)

Because Americans don't agree with him on the issues

Because he comes off as a quack with a loony group of supporters
