Nope. "A jury found her not guilty of first degree murder, not guilty of aggravated manslaughter and not guilty of aggravated child abuse."

There are other kinds of manslaughter.

Well I would think that getting non guilty on all three of those will end any future prosecution.

Accidental death... manslaughter (not aggravated against a child) because culpable negligence seems likely. Although, I don't know if that would be double jeopardy in that state.

Don't worry 10 years from now she will end up in jail for trying to steal her Heisman Trophy.

Never mind, manslaughter would substantially be the same charge.

this woman will be hated by most, be a burden to her family and won't be able to support herself. Who would hire her? People will call her a murderer wherever she goes. The jury members will also pay a price. If they were your neighbor or employee would you not think differently about them?

Not about the jury. They have a job to do and I believe they all did it the best of their abilities. No one should judge them for their decision. Sure if Casey Anthony moved next door I would most certainly ignore her. I'm expecting her to make money of this entire thing with talk show appearances and the like. The same crowd who hate her will also tune in to watch all the Nancy Graces's with talks shows tear into her. Apparently there are book deals already in the works. Does anyone know who we can thank for her fame?

Casey Anthony cannot be retried or face additional charges on any aspect of this case- she cannot be tried for failing to report Caylee missing, for drowning or handling Caylee's remains and disposing them like they are trash...under double jeopardy...she will never face additional charges related to Caylee's death. Once a person is acquitted, the case is closed for good.

Nothing was proven except lying top the police (which should not be a crime; they lie all the time). Unless you were in the court room, or a witness to something, shut your freaking stupid mouths.

@Paeet Sounds like you might get your wish. Larry Flynt offered her $500,000 to pose for Hustler.

@Fanadfilms I have to agree with you. The jury was there to make a decision and they did their job, without bowing to pressure to convict her.

We weren't there, so what can we say really...

BLAME THE JURY! Hosea Baez (her atty) CHOSE that jury from a number of people who were in the 'jury pool'! He CHOSE THE LEAST EDUCATED ONES, LIKELY, WITH A PREVIEW OF THEIR PERSONAL WORK HISTORY. THAT WAY, the individuals with the least amount of formal education, are the ones HE CHOSE from the JURY POOL! lt was ALL HAND-PICKED!
