Last call, who will win the election?
commented: Who won what? "We" the people won the expectation of higher taxes, fewer and more costly health and health insurance options, greater public debt for our kids and grandkids to have to pay, more regulations, more families in need of food stamps, fewer job opportunities, a growing unconstitutional federal government and still no budget from our elected representatives. Kindly, remind me exactly who won what. Thanks.

Last call, who will win the election?
commented: Goldman Sachs winning regardless = covering their bets.

People losing = since at least 1994 (nearly a generation) (since Clinton with the weapon called "Contract With America" pointed at him- credit given to R or D depending on one's particular alignment to the Incumbent Party.

Either the president will have a "come to Jesus" moment or more of the silent shellshocked status-quo majority will (as some did 4 years ago before they were marginalized by the GOP and it's media.

As our Chinese owners say "May you live in interesting times."

Did Mitt Romney's "win" at the debate cost him more in teh long run than he gained?
answered: That's a loaded question. It presumes either way you answer that the debate win cost him.

Did Ann Romney or Michelle Obama give a better convention speech?
commented: It is nice to see that class warfare is alive and well. Wouldn't those old men who set this place up with the intention to put shackles on big govt. be pleased. Who wants a system where one could raise oneself up on hard work and merit anyways?
No wonder so many people have tried to immigrate to this country over the couple centuries where there was hope for their children to be successful individuals rather than belongings of a government.
Long live the status quo. Vote for one of the wings of the bickering Incumbent party. Invite a sheep to dinner and feast on mutton.

How much do you think Obama is to blame for the current economic situation?
commented: There was a Democratic Congress the last two years of Bush's reign and the first two years of Obama's reign. Ask Barney Frank about the only girl who was "all right" with him- her name is Fannie Mae. And we are not adding lots of private sector jobs. The economy grows when the free market creates jobs.

How much do you think Bush is to blame for the current economic situation?
commented: In the end we must accept the blame/responsibility… this has taken several generations to deteriorate to this point.
If we accept the idea that our Constitution and our form of government was meant and designed to aid We the people to keep the central govt in check, with checks and reins on the govt. that inevitably moves in a totalitarian direction, then we have to understand that the buck (you too, Buck) stops with us.
This has been coming since FDR got a hold of a depression and turned it into the Great Depression, and even earlier than that with some W.Wilson.
How about this quote from Uncle Joe Stalin?:
"America is like a healthy body and its resistance is threefold: its patriotism, its morality and its spiritual life. If we can undermine there three areas, America will collapse from within."
I remember my Dad teaching us this stuff at the dinner table over 50 years ago.
But blame is useless. It is the remedy that needs to be discussed and understand it's not going to happen with a simple change of administration. I don't expect to see it in my life time but try to leave the right books and conversations, for my son and younger generation to learn. I am optimistic for the long haul.

How much do you think Obama is to blame for the current economic situation?
commented: They are both tools of the ruling elite and the imperial military complex. Bush bailed after the election of Obama and I clearly recall him conferring with Obama as a "courtesy". But it was no "courtesy" to the American people or their children. By that act, both presidents are culpable but neither one accepts blame. This country has been ruined over the last hundred years- My folks (long gone) could see it 50 years ago. It's called the Incumbent Party - Democrats and Republicans are a show to keep keep the few useless idiots occupied.

If the general election were held today, which of these two candidates would win? Mitt Romney or Barack Obama?
commented: It's no secret or revelation that the MSM is in the propaganda (sales) business more than the reporting business.
"Idiot Box" is not a new term-- it goes back at least to the 1960s.
I believe it is true that most media interests would like to maintain the status quo of the incumbent party in Obomney over Dr Paul. I determined months ago I would vote for Dr Paul. This will not be the first time I wrote in a candidate.
thinking about the majority of Americans, many are so busy trying to keep bread on the table and kids on the straight and narrow that they don't have time to sort through the bull. Don't be too hard on them. Many many more have figured it out than four years ago, and that includes the younger generation which is most hopeful for the republic. TJefferson said "Truth is great and will prevail" but it was not mentioned that it might not happen very quickly.

Delegates are not bound to Romney or any other candidate, but they're free agents. Is this bad news for Romney?
commented: But good news for our kids and grandkids who are the beneficiaries who get to pay for our "austerity".
